Frank Turner tour: Plays at Student Union Plymouth.

Beans on Toast, Fake Problems and Frank Turner came to the stage at the Student union in Plymouth on Saturday 24th October.

Kick Starting the 4 hour show Beans on Toast: (A guy and his Guitar, singing about drugs, women and Tesco’s.)
Sounds like: Ian Dury & the Blockheads.

Beans on Toast welcomed the stage with some of his songs, including "The Price of Rice" and "Coke". Apart from introducing the crowd to his deadly drug songs, he also shared some personal gossip about what happened with another woman the night before. But let`s not go into his private life of woman even if he did say he cheated on his girlfriend. I`m sure all bands tell a little story on stage whether or not it is a white lie. After a show of drugs anonymous and a few laughs from Beans on Toast.

Fake Problems took the stage: (A indie pop, folk and punk band from Naples, FL.)Fake problems performed a magnificent show. One of the best live support bands I have seen in a while.
Sounds like: The Airborne Toxic Event, Nick Cave & the Badseeds

Lead singer Chris Farren has what you call, the Kings of Leon sound. Which is a strong voice that has soul and heart to every song. Usually when you hear a band for the first time you either hate it from the start or you don`t bother at all to take time to listen. But this band has the sound to turn that frown upside down. Fake problems have potential to turn a support performance into their own show. Alongside the lead singer with his "sexy" voice. Fake Problems have heart warming lonesome lyrics; with their success in lyrics they have the key to everyone’s heart. After a ear blowing performance, fake problems are well on their way to the hearts of music lovers and teenage crushes.

Frank Turner entered with a huge applause from the crowd: (A Smiley, happy Guy with his guitar and his band from Winchester with mixed genres of, Folk/indie rock/pop.)
Sounds like: Frank Turner, ABBA.

After a long anticipating wait of trying to spot the real Frank Turner rather than making an eye at someone scattering around the stage with a checkered shirt. Frank turner is welcomed with an excited applause and enters the stage with his guitar, his smile and a red checkered shirt.
His performance was as suspected. Brilliant!
Frank Turner`s catchy songs and smile made the performance happy as a whole. After a few songs were played from the new album along with the song "Dan`s Song" in which frank asked a member of the audience to accompany him and play the harmonica. Ben the harmonica player with his blonde bouncing hair was over the moon. He clearly was happy with himself, even if he didn`t know how to play the harmonica he still played along with Frank and his guitar.
Frank also played his hit single "The Road" which got the audience pointing East, West, North and South. After an amazing performance from Frank Turner, the crowd could only want more.
So Frank Turner came to the stage for a second welcome. Along with Fake Problems and Beans on Toast. And finally Frank Turner plays "Reasons not to be an idiot" which was as expected, it was immense!
